Well...Kingdom Hearts 1...I played it, I loved it. CoM for GBA came then...I also loved it. Let's see what I think of KH2...
Story- 10/10
Man, the story is almost the best part of this game. You have to play CoM and KH first to understand it, but once you have KH and CoM all in your brain, be ready for a roller coaster. This game shifts from amazing twists to even crazier twists, and then you go through 10 loops and you are so dizzy that you must force yourself to stop playing. The massive amount of characters and worlds end up giving you almost 20 different story lines! Each one is also put together simply fantastically! Love games with story? Buy the SPECIAL EDITION of this >_>
Gameplay- 10/10
The controls are pretty easy to understand, and you get used to them quickly. The battles are simply fantastic and amazingly fast-paced! You will be running through a world and then enemies appear and attack you. Set your curser to attack on your command bar, charge in toward them, and hit X to sliding dash to the enemies and get a first attack. Back, up, use R1 to bring up your quick spell menu and shoot them with some Thundaga, then use your Limit Break with Donald to smash them with your magic. Imagine all of this but extremely fast. Yeah...it's amazing.
Sound: 9/10
The voice acting is fantastic...but the sounds in the initial game could be better. Lightning sounds that have been recycled through Final Fantasy, Keyblade hits that sound like you are hitting someone with a club...it could all be better. Amazing voice acting though...
Graphics- 9/10
The graphics are pretty good for Playstation, but I've seen better. Resident Evil 4's graphics are much better, and games like Rogue Galaxy had graphics that are a bit better than these. Still great graphics. The bosses and enemies look really cool, first of all, and the Disney environments look vbeyer accurate towards the movies.
Replay Value: 10/10
Absolutely play this again. Most people probably wont try the game on Proud Mode the first time; people will usually try Normal hopefullly, considering that beginner is a cakewalk. There is a neat secret movie that you should try to get, and the easiest way to grab it is through beating Proud Mode...and Proud Mode might be a challenge, so you should try it after conguering Normal or Beginner.
Overall: 10/10
Easily my favorite game of all time, and I've played a TON of games.
Rent or Buy: BUY!!! BUY 265738 COPIES! NEVER RENT THIS GAME.
